GBC Shareholder Patrick Burns and attorney Kevin Bastuba presented a seminar titled Ethics Violations in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to the Bay Area In‑House Med-Tech Association (BAIMA), a group of in-house IP counsel from life science and medical device companies in the San Francisco Bay area. The presentation provided an analysis of changing rules of professional conduct for practice before the USPTO, and the implications of these rules changes on the day-to-day practice of Patent Attorneys and Agents.
