Luana Faria is an attorney at Greer, Burns & Crain in the Chicago office. She is a member of the firm’s anti-counterfeiting group, and her practice focuses on trademark and copyright enforcement. Ms. Faria has several years of experience in intellectual property enforcement, brand protection, and cybersecurity.

Before joining Greer, Burns & Crain, Ms. Faria worked as an enforcement specialist at a global e-commerce company, where she was responsible for responding to takedown notices and enforcing intellectual property rights on the platform. Ms. Faria has also worked at a cybersecurity company providing brand protection and anti-fraud services to large corporations in Brazil, including retail stores, financial institutions, and media companies.

Ms. Faria earned a Law Degree from Faculdade Sinergia in Brazil and a Master of Laws degree from Loyola University Chicago. During law school, Ms. Faria spent two years as a legal intern for a State Criminal Court Judge in Brazil, assisting in all phases of criminal procedure. She also worked as a corporate legal intern for a port in Brazil, where she had the opportunity to observe trade and customs procedures.
