Hannah Dawson is an attorney at Greer, Burns & Crain, Ltd. in Chicago, Illinois.  Her legal practice spans all areas of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on anti-counterfeiting, litigation, and patent prosecution.

Ms. Dawson earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and worked as a law clerk at Greer, Burns & Crain, Ltd. prior to joining the firm as an attorney. During law school, she competed in the USPTO PTAB Moot Court competition, where her team placed within the top ten nationally. She also contributed to the Annals of Health Law & Life Sciences and was a research assistant. In addition, she held writer, editor, and executive board roles with Loyola’s IP blog, IP Bytes, and served as Vice President of Loyola’s IP Law Society.

Before law school, Ms. Dawson worked in biometrics and data management for various oncology pharmaceutical therapies across multiple clinical trial phases. She received her dual Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati. While in school, Ms. Dawson was an undergraduate research assistant and assisted in studying the impact of drugs, genes, and environmental factors on brain development. She also contributed to research examining the sensory cues and migratory route patterns of monarch butterflies.
